Pic Spocket

Between my recent and frequent business travels (I am in Mexico as I write this article), we found the time to pass few days at the beach in ‘family’. We went in Ipperwash, near Grand Bend in Ontario, on the side of Lake Huron. We managed to find a little motel that accepts dogs, so we brought Newton along for the ride. This was his first ‘long’ trip. Here is the location on the map:

We really had a great time there with some nice weather. The beaches were quite nice. Newton turns out to be a big water dog: he loves to jump in to fetch wood sticks and swim. You could tell he was really happy over there.

Every evening, we walk the dog in the park on the side of the Detroit River. Last Saturday, I brought the camera and took a few decent pictures. When we arrived at the river, the sky was a very deep red, reflecting on the water. The color only stayed for a few minutes.
