Newton sleeping

While I had to camera and the flash setup out to photograph the trophy, Newton fell asleep right beside me. I used the same lighting setup (a snoot on an off-camera flash to concentrate the light in a specific spot) to catch him in his sleep. Who would believe that sometimes he still is a little devil???

5k Run Race: Running from Cancer

090726_04_5k_cancer_trophy I ran the 5 km ‘Running from Cancer’ this morning. Almost missed the race because I woke up too late, but finally made it.Everything went well, excepted I started too strong. I crossed the first km marker at 3 min 50. Obviously, I slowed down a lot at the end since I could not hold that pace.

Finished 6th overall out of 211 in 20:48, first in my age group. Results here.

If I can get better with my Iliotibial Band Syndrom (ITBS), I would really like to start increasing my distance and starting the 10 and 20 k’s at some point.
