It’s done… I am registered.

A new Ironman race has just been announced, in my home province, in Mont-Tremblant Qc in August 2012. I could not resist and had to register. The course should be awesome and challenging, a bit like Lake Placid I would guess. What is nice is that the whole bike course will be re-paved before the race. I can race it, then recover in Quebec City while visiting friends and family.

I am now registered to 3 Ironmans (Lake Placid, Florida and Mont-Tremblant), and I’ve never even started one. Not sure if I should be considered as ambitious, clueless or foolish hehe! Hopefully, I still feel like doing another one after IMLP next month.

Can’t wait for this event!! I did not sign up (it would be foolish for me as I don’t have enough time during my days to properly train for such an race), but I have already booked a hotel room so that I can come and watch the bazillion people who are competing, it should be a great venue! Hope your cold is settling down, and you are feeling good for LP. Take care!

    Hello Sydney!

There are a lot of people from the area competing! I was at Colin Docherty’s birthay party a couple of weeks ago and there was 10 people just there that were doing it! Should be a very nice venue! Organizers should do a good job since they are the ones putting the 70.3 in Muskoka event (I think)!

I feel better than a few days ago. I think I skimped by the cold haha! :) Should even go better now that taper is officially in full swing after a nice SBR workout this morning. Thanks for the wishes!
